To all customers of Anderson County Consolidated Rural Water District No. 1:
This letter is to inform you of upcoming changes in the district’s utility pricing that will take effect on September 1st.
The last rate adjustment was more than 20 years ago. The current rate is $9.88 per 1,000 gallons. To meet increasing costs, the Board of Directors has determined it necessary to increase to a rate of $12.00 per 1,000 gallons. This rate adjustment is being made to ensure the continued quality and reliability of the water district’s service.
